Welcome to my blog!
I wanted to take this time to introduce myself, share a bit of my background and tell you how I came to understand that I was a Medium.
I grew up in California by the ocean with wonderful parents who taught me to look for the rainbows when it rained, to wish upon the first star I saw in the sky at night, and that laughter was the best medicine. In all respects I had a perfectly normal childhood for a little girl growing up in California. I spent summer days at the beach, in the ocean and at summer camp. I enjoyed being in Girl Scouts, I took dance, theater, and ice-skating lessons.
I also saw dead people, or as I prefer to call them, loved ones in spirit. I would see spirit as if they were standing right in front of me, just like I saw living people, but I was aware that they were passed and no longer actually in their physical bodies. I could hear them talking to me, smell their perfume or cigarettes, and feel their emotions. I also had dreams that would be better described as premonitions, in other words, dreams that would come true. I always knew when the phone would ring and who was on the other end calling (before caller id was invented). I also knew how living people felt, without them telling me. I could feel the energy inside a room or building. I also knew when people were being truthful with me or not.
I did not think that I was any different than the children who I was friends with, who I grew up with or any of my family members. One of my friends was an extremely talented gymnast, another was a wonderful artist, and one of my classmates was a professional skateboarder. I know that they were born with a natural ability for those skills. With specialized training, focus and practice, they were able to expand their knowledge in their field of interest. They would nurture their innate abilities and continue to get even better. My innate ability to sense loved ones in spirit is just that, simply a faculty, something that I was born with. Just like my friends who were born with natural abilities in art, gymnastics, and skateboarding. I believe that being a medium is no different. It is simply using and developing that natural faculty. Just as an artist practices and develops their skills, or a gymnast who takes lessons and perfects their abilities, mediumship is no different. It takes study, focus and practice.
I became aware that I was in fact a medium when I was 9 years old. No, I did not know that there was a label “medium” for the experiences that I was having. That would be revealed to me years later. To give credit where credit is due I must explain that it was my grandma Annie, who had just passed away from cancer, who made me aware of why I was seeing “dead people”. She helped me to make sense of it all. On her first visit after she died, she showed up in my bedroom doorway. It was in the middle of the night and I sat straight up in my bed when I heard her voice. As I gazed in her direction rubbing my eyes to make sure that I was seeing what I thought I was seeing, she looked at me with her familiar warm smile and a sparkle in her eyes. She told me that everything was alright and not to worry.
“I’ve had a number of medium/psychic readings during my long life, including some from well-known readers. I’ve never had one as accurate and uplifting as what Michele has given me. All my loved ones in spirit came through during the medium reading, and all my questions were answered during the psychic reading. Michele is extremely gifted, and I feel blessed to have found her. She never disappoints and is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Thank you, Michele!”

That experience solidified my understanding. It made me aware that the spirits who were coming to me had a greater purpose. After that night, she would come to see me rather frequently. She taught me many things during her “visits” with me after she died. One important thing that she taught me was people who are still living and grieving the loss of a loved one who had passed away first need to allow themselves to grieve and go through the stages of grief.
They next need to process their new existence without their loved one and learn how to carry on without their loved one in this physical world anymore. Doing this while finding a way to live their life to the fullest, despite the sadness of losing their loved one. Also, she made me understand that even though our loved ones are no longer here in their physical bodies, they are still very much a part of our lives and they are still connected to us. The bonds of love last forever. She told me when someone we love dies, they are no longer in pain from an illness, event or whatever they may have passed from. We, the ones left behind, are the ones who mourn their passing. She told me not to be sad for the loved ones who passed. They are alright just as she is.
I am so grateful for the experiences that were given to me as a child that have helped to shape my understanding of what it means to be a medium. These experiences have shown me how I can be of greater service to both the spirit world, those in Heaven as well as my clients here in the physical world who come to me for readings. By bringing my clients evidence from their loved ones in Heaven and an understanding that their loved ones are alright, I hope to bring with that the awareness of the importance of living their life to the fullest now. In a reading where loved ones in spirit bring through validation that they are still present in our lives today and that they celebrate our experiences with us, it can bring such a feeling of peace, joy and comfort. Sometimes the message is complex. Other times it is simply that they love you or they want you to know that they are proud of you.
I currently live in Wichita, Kansas. I offer both psychic and mediumship readings over the telephone, or on zoom. To book a reading or to get more information please contact me.
